I’ve loved apple cider ever since I discovered spiced apple cider. When my local farmer’s market announced they wouldn’t have organic, raw apple cider next year, I panicked a bit. So, I decided to learn how to make homemade canned apple cider myself.

Apple Jack is essentially made by creating hard apple cider and then freeze-concentrating it. You let it freeze, drain off the alcohol-rich liquid that doesn’t freeze, and discard the remaining water and ice.
