A recipe that combines that classic mojito flavors with fresh strawberries. This strawberry mojito is perfect for enjoying after a long day.

Why This recipe Works
There’s no simple syrup, and it’s delicious. You won’t miss the annoying step of making one. Promise. (And be sure to check out the strawberry old fashioned recipe for another no-fuss fruit cocktail.)
Let’s not overcomplicate things here. It’s time to mix.
What you’ll need

- 1ย tablespoonย sugar
- 2ย tablespoonsย fresh lime juice
- 1/2ย cupย club soda
- 1/4ย cupย white rum
- 1/4ย cupย strawberriesย halved (about 4 big berries)
- 12ย large mint leaves
You’ll also want a glass (obviously) and something to muddle with. I used this wooden muddler but I’ve used the skinny end of a wooden spoon or the rounded end of a butter knife in a pinch.
let’s make some mojitos

First, we want to get all the mint flavor out of those leaves. You can just drop them in there and expect them to do anything. And to get a minty drink, we must muddle.
Drop your strawberries in the glass, along with the sugar, lime juice, and mint, and smash them up for a few minutes. Take your time with this step. The berries should totally pulverized when you’re done.
Then, pour in the rum and club soda, add some ice, and garnish.
That’s was easy, right?

Enjoy!
