Strawberry Shortcake Cocktail Recipe
A recipe for an easy summery cocktail. The sweetness of whipped cream vodka and fresh strawberry combine for a strawberry shortcake cocktail that tastes like a dessert.
If you’re looking for a sweet and springy cocktail that’s just a little different, you’re in luck. This strawberry shortcake cocktail is unlike any drink you’ve ever had, but you’ll love the familiar flavors of whipped cream, strawberry, and lemonade.
It’s pretty and pink from the strawberries, and you can add mint leaves or lemon slices for even more color. But whatever you do, don’t skip the whipped cream vodka! It’s essential for getting that sweetness and shortcake flavor.
(And be sure to try triple berry sangria if you love sugared berries!)
What you’ll need
- 3 strawberries, chopped
- ½ tablespoon sugar
- 2 ounces whipped cream flavored vodka (two popular brands are Smirnoff’s and Pinnacle)
- 2 ounces lemonade
- 2 ounces club soda
How to make your drink
It’s easy and you won’t even have any dishes to wash!
Just chop up your berries and put them right in the glass with the sugar. Stir it up and let the glass sit at room temperature until the berries released their juices.
Meanwhile, get out the vodka, lemonade, and club soda.
Fill your cup with however much ice you’d like, right on top of the berries.
Pour the remaining ingredients on top, and give the drink a quick stir.
Enjoy immediately.
