Lots of hot peppers in your garden?

Make these sweet & spicy canned peppers!

Your ingredients:

Jalapenos Sugar VInegar Turmeric Cinnamon

First!

Slice your peppers.  Wear gloves! You can do this by hand and it won't take long!

Next

Make the vinegar and sugar syru.  Add the spices and bring to a boil

Add the peppers

Briefly cook the peppers in the syrup until they change color

If you want to can them....

Pour into hot jars, wipe clean, and place lids on

Waterbath canning

Lower into the canner and process half pints for 15 minutes (with the lid on!)
