This old-fashioned tartar sauce recipe is quick, adaptable to your tastes, and delicious with any fried seafood. 


Mayonnaise Dill Relish Fresh Lemon Juice Minced Shallot Salt Coarse Pepper Fresh Parsley

Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Good additions include minced fresh parsley, fresh dill, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, and capers.

Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

Spoon into individual ramekins and serve it with fish and chips, crab cakes, salmon cakes, or fried shrimp. You can also dip your French fries in it or spoon it on top of roasted veggies.

If you dont have lemon juice, substitute with white vinegar. If you don’t have shallots, substitute with onion and dill relish can be swapped for a finely  chopped dill pickle
