Soft And Fluffy BRIOCHE BURGER BUNS

Soft and fluffy burger buns made right at home.  If you've never found a bun recipe that you love, it's because you haven't tried these!

Ingredients

DOUGH Water | Milk Unsalted Butter | Eggs Sugar | Flour Salt | Yeast TOPPING Egg Wash Sesame Or Poppy Seeds

Microwave the milk, water, and butter in a glass measuring cup on low for 45 seconds.

Mix all ingredients. The dough will be sticky but should form a ball.

Shape the dough into a ball. Place in an oiled bowl and cover tightly  with plastic wrap.

Cover and let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1.5- 2 hours.

Once the dough is puffy, turn it out onto a lightly floured work surface. Divide the dough into eighths.

Shape the hamburger buns by pinching the bottoms to smooth out the top. Place them on baking sheets lined with parchment paper.

Brush rolls with egg wash and sprinkle with seeds if desired. Cover tightly with greased plastic wrap.

Allow the buns to rise  for one hour at warm room temperature. Towards the end of the rising time, preheat the oven to 400°.

Bake for 16-18 minutes, until very golden brown. Cool on wire rack.

If you'd like, toast before using as burger buns.
