Everyone loves this simple sangria recipe with mixed berries, citrus, and just the right amount of sweetness. Mix up at lunch and serve on the porch in evening!

Ingredients
For the sangria
2cupsmixed berries
¼cupgranulated sugar
1orangecut into wedges
1bottlered wine(Merlot works well)
1cupbrandy or vodkaWe like raspberry vodka
2cupsclub soda
For serving
mint leaves
whole berries
Instructions
Sugar the berries. Combine the berries and sugar in a medium bowl. Set aside at room temperature about 30 minutes until the berries are juicy and the sugar is mostly dissolved.
Add the alcohol. Place the orange wedges and juicy berries into a pitcher and add the wine and liquor. Stir, cover, and place in the fridge for 2-4 hours to infuse the wine with the fruit flavor.
Add club soda and garnishes. Just before serving, stir in the club soda and serve over ice. Add whole berries, mint leaves, and additional orange slices to the glass, if desired. Refrigerate any leftovers and drink within 1 day.
Notes
This recipe is flexible! Switch out the berries or citrus if you want. Try a flavored vodka or brandy. To save money, choose frozen berries and an affordable wine.
