Blueberry Lavender Lemonade Recipe

You'll love this gorgeously pink fruity lemonade with a hint of floral sweetness. A simple to make recipe that's delicious and beautiful.

  • Make the syrup. Over medium heat, combine 1 cup of water, blueberries, lavender, and 3/4 cup of sugar, bringing to a boil until sugar is dissolved. Simmer until blueberries have broken down, about 3-4 minutes.

  • Steep. Allow mixture to steep for 1-2 hours (less if you want less of a lavender taste).
  • Strain and mix. Strain the blueberry mixture through a cheesecloth or strainer into a large pitcher. Add 1 cup lemon juice and 5 cups water. Place in the refrigerator until chilled.

  • Garnish and serve. Serve over ice, with lemon slices, and fresh blueberries.

Notes

You can find dried lavender next to other dried herbs in the spice aisle.
Don't skip the straining step; the bits of blueberry skin and dried flowers are not pretty.
The pink color is all-natural.
