  • 1 cup brewed coffee strong and hot
  • 1 cup milk any kind, including almond or oat
  • 2 tablespoons caramel sauce divided
  • 1 tablespoon apple butter
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • whipped cream optional
  • additional caramel sauce for garnish
  • cinnamon stick for garnish optional

Instructions

  • Brew the Coffee and Drizzle Caramel. Brew a cup of strong and hot coffee using your preferred method. (You can use a drip coffee maker, French press, or any other brewing method you like.) While it is brewing, 1 tablespoon drizzle caramel sauce (NOT syrup) inside mugs.

  • Warm and flavor the Milk In a small saucepan, gently heat the milk over medium-low heat until it's warm but not boiling. Stir occasionally to prevent scalding and ensure an even temperature. Once the milk is warm, add 1 tablespoon caramel sauce, apple butter, cinnamon, and vanilla to the saucepan. Stir well to combine, allowing the flavors to meld together.

Notes

If you have an espresso machine, 1-2 shots of espresso is delicious and the "right" way to make a latte.  But I don't have one so this is what I do. :)
