Brew a cup of strong and hot coffee using your preferred method. (You can use a drip coffee maker, French press, or any other brewing method you like.) While it is brewing, 1 tablespoon drizzle caramel sauce (NOT syrup) inside mugs.

Step Two: warm the milk

In a saucepan, gently heat your chosen milk. Make sure it gets warm, but keep an eye so it doesn’t boil. Add the caramel sauce, apple butter, cinnamon, and a hint of vanilla to the milk. Give it a good stir until everything blends perfectly.

Notes

If you have an espresso machine, 1-2 shots of espresso is delicious and the “right” way to make a latte.  But I don’t have one so this is what I do. 🙂
