Total Time:4 daysd10 minutesmins
Equipment
Medium saucepan
Spatula
Guest size soap mold
Ingredients
3ouncesbeeswax
1ouncecoconut oil
1ounceavocado oil
1ouncealmond oil
1ouncesshea Butter or mango butter
1ouncepowdered goat milk
¾tablespoonfragrance oiloptional
Instructions
Measure the beeswax, coconut oil, avocado oil, almond oil, and shea butter into a medium saucepan, using a digital scale.
Melt the oils over medium-low heat, stirring constantly. Do not leave them unattended, as beeswax is very flammable. The butters will melt first and the beeswax pellets will take longer. This is normal.
When all components are fully melted, add the fragrance oil and stir. Pour the mixture into the mold immediately.
Allow to harden 4-8 hours before turning out.
Notes
Lotion bars do not need any cure time and be used immediately.Don’t leave in a hot car or you’ll have a mess.Beeswax pellets are the easiest to melt and measure. White or yellow are both fine; I use white in these images.
