Crockpot Barbecue Beans

  • 3 15 ounce cans great Northern Beans
  • 2 15 ounce cans black beans
  • 1 15 ounce can butter beans
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 cup salsa
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon seasoned salt


  • Rinse and drain the beans in a large colander under running water. It is fine to dump them all in and rinse them at the same time.
  • Add the beans to the slow cooker along with the remaining ingredients. Stir well and cover.
  • Cook on low for 6 hours, or on high for 3 hours. Serve in bowls or to dip chips into.


Choose an inexpensive, shelf-stable salsa.
If you like things spicy, add a teaspoon or two of hot sauce.
