Black Widow Spider Halloween Cocktail

This drink is perfect for those who appreciate slightly spooky but still have good taste. Black raspberry liqueur makes this delicious and the spider makes it fun.

Everyone LOVES the raspberry flavor in this drink. Except men. They might hate it. But it’s still great for parties and mixes up in just a few minutes.

Ingredients and Tools You’ll Need

For a less sweet drink, use ginger ale or tonic water instead of Sprite. If you don’t have any black sugar, you can use regular sugar or leave the rim unsugared. You don’t have to use Chambord. I always use the no-name black raspberry liqueur. Unfortunately, you can’t make this non-alcoholic because the raspberry flavor is crucial. Serve the non-drinkers a glass of cranberry juice with a spider.

How to Make A Black Widow Halloween Cocktail

Step One: Prepare The Glasses. Pour the corn syrup and black sugar onto 2 small plates. Dip the glasses into the corn syrup, then the sugar. Don’t get too much syrup on the rim, or it will drip down. Fill the glasses halfway with ice.

Step Three: Garnish. Add a plastic spider and mint for garnish if you like.

Storage Instructions

I wouldn’t recommend trying to store leftovers. If you’re making these for a crowd, you can mix the vodka, raspberry liqueur, and cranberry juice a few hours ahead of time, then add the Sprite at the last minute.
