Blueberry Lavender Lemonade (Gorgeous & Easy)
Sometimes when you bring out a drink, people will literally ooh and ahh. And this lemonade Is one of those recipes. I love the flavor and how tart it is with a floral fragrance. But what I love most of all is the color. It’s all natural, super beautiful, and just the thing for a girls night.

Three things that make or break this lemonade: don’t let the lavender steep too long (one hour max), strain everything twice if you have to, and use fresh lemon juice if you possibly can. I’ve made this with bottled lemon juice in a pinch, but fresh makes it taste like you hired a caterer. Also, make extra! People always want seconds of the pretty pink stuff.

How to Make Blueberry Lavender Lemonade
Step One: Make The Syrup. Over medium heat, combine 1 cup of water, blueberries, lavender, and 3/4 cup of sugar, bringing to a boil until sugar is dissolved. Simmer until blueberries have broken down, about 3-4 minutes.

Step Two: Steep. Allow mixture to steep for 1-2 hours (less if you want less of a lavender taste).
Step Three: Strain And Mix. Strain the blueberry mixture through a cheesecloth or strainer into a large pitcher. Add 1 cup lemon juice and 5 cups water. Place in the refrigerator until chilled.

Step Four: Garnish And Serve. Serve over ice, with lemon slices, and fresh blueberries.

Serving and Storing
If you plan to drink your lemonade within a day or two, store it in the fridge. Just be sure to seal it tightly in a pitcher or jar.
For longer storage, freeze your lemonade in ice cube trays and then transfer the cubes to a freezer-safe bag. You can add them to glasses of water or seltzer for a quick and easy drink.
Lemonade stored in the fridge will last 2-3 days.
Frozen lemonade cubes will last for 2-3 months.
