Instructions
- Brew the Coffee and Drizzle Caramel. Brew a cup of strong and hot coffee using your preferred method. (You can use a drip coffee maker, French press, or any other brewing method you like.) While it is brewing, 1 tablespoon drizzle caramel sauce (NOT syrup) inside mugs.
- Warm and flavor the Milk In a small saucepan, gently heat the milk over medium-low heat until it's warm but not boiling. Stir occasionally to prevent scalding and ensure an even temperature. Once the milk is warm, add 1 tablespoon caramel sauce, apple butter, cinnamon, and vanilla to the saucepan. Stir well to combine, allowing the flavors to meld together.
- Assemble. In a heat-resistant glass or mug, pour the brewed coffee. Slowly pour the warm and flavored milk over the coffee. If desired, top with a dollop of whipped cream and a drizzle of caramel. For an elegant touch, add a cinnamon stick as a garnish.
- Garnish. If desired, top with a dollop of whipped cream and a drizzle of caramel. For an elegant touch, add a cinnamon stick as a garnish.

Notes
If you have an espresso machine, 1-2 shots of espresso is delicious and the “right” way to make a latte. But I don’t have one so this is what I do. 🙂

👩🏻🍳 Expert tips

- Always opt for freshly brewed coffee for the best flavor.
- When heating the milk, using a thermometer can ensure you don’t overheat it. Aim for 150°F – it’s the sweet spot!
- If you have a frother, froth the milk after adding the flavors for a creamy, foamy finish.
