Candied Sweet Potatoes

Yep, this is “the one with the marshmallows”. The kids beg for it, and everyone loves it. It’s the one dish that changes the mind of anyone who says they don’t like sweet potatoes.

These are worth making from scratch. I love to serve them in a basket with a decorative towel to keep them warm.

Scalloped Corn with Cracker Topping

This dish will be gone in minutes, I promise. It’s always a hit with the kids. Don’t skip out on the cracker topping – it’s the best part.

whole roasted turkey

Roasted Turkey

I love this recipe because it’s about as classic as it gets by using loads of butter and fresh herbs. Basic, but flavorful, and lets the sides shine.

Pan Gravy

The last step before everyone sits down to eat. A pan gravy is non-negotiable at our Thanksgiving table.

Cornbread Dressing

I’m going to go ahead and say you add this to your menu and not substitute it for traditional stuffing. It has a much different flavor than traditional stuffing.

Biscuits

This recipe just has four ingredients. Perfect for soaking up leftover gravy off your plate.

sliced turkey breasts garnished with oranges and cranberries

Crock Pot Turkey Breast

Sometimes one bird just doesn’t cut it, and I don’t have the oven space for another. So I break out this recipe to make extra turkey in a slow cooker.
